Review Policy

For authors & publishers interested in having a book reviewed

Thank you for taking the time to read my review policy before submitting your request! I appreciate it.

I primarily read YA focusing on the genres of: romance, fantasy, paranormal, dystopian, and contemporary. I also occasionally enjoy reading Adult novels and Mangas.

I love series, sagas, and trilogies! If the book is part of a series, I have to read them in sequential order. I don't mind to start and review a whole series if it is something I think I will enjoy.

I will accept various forms of books and Advance Reader Copies such as paperbound, iBook, and/or PDF. However, I do have a preference to physical copies. (I will always be the type of reader that would rather hold a book in my hands then an e-reader!)

My reviews include all of the books basic information (novels premise, publisher, publishing date, cover, ext.) I break down my reviews into 4 categories: Summery, Characterization/ Romance, World-Building, and Overall Thoughts. This keeps my reviews consistent and very easy to read. I also use the star rating system.

All of my reviews are my honest feelings toward the book. Most of my reviews tend to be on the more positive side as I know what books I like. All books reviewed on Randy's Reads are purchased unless otherwise stated. I like my reviews to seem like an everyday conversation, as if I'm talking to my friend about my latest find.

If there is a time constraint (release date) please let me know! I will try to work with you to make sure that it is met. I often have my reviews and reading list planned a month or so in advance.

I cross-post/link and advertise my reviews to Goodreads as well as my various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Youtube, Twitter)

I will gladly consider all book review requests if after reading my policy it fits into those guidelines.

Although I normally enjoy most books, if I feel that the book doesn't meet my guidelines or I do not see it receiving a positive review I will notify you.

I appreciate every email I receive and request I get. I will always try to reply to them in a timely manner!
